Nature's pantry and Sami dinner - summer
Nature is filled with plants and berries to collect and eat. While we collect part of our dinner, we learn more about the Sami traditions, and how the plants are, and have been used, in Sami everyday life.
An afternoon with Sami traditionsIn the forest there are hidden plants and berries that have been used by the Sami people, for food and medicine. We walk on paths and in the forest to find what we are looking for. We are prepared to find our own food in nature.
The guide tells you what you can eat and not, and gives advice on how to use it. We pick plants and berries and stop to make a fire to drink coffee. Finally we are meeting the chef at the restaurant. We get to present what we found in the forest. For dinner we are served a Sami-inspired meal with parts of what we found. Price: SEK 2,590/person. Children 3-15 years SEK 1,590/child.
