Close to Sweden’s Highest Mountains & Northern Lights

​We travel through the Kalix Valley into the highest mountain region in Sweden, near the heart of Kebnekaise. Along the way, we photograph the dramatic Arctic landscape while our guide shares insights about nature and the local environment. If we are lucky, we may also spot and photograph Arctic wildlife before arriving in Nikkaluokta, where we spend the night.

After a two-course dinner with our Sámi guide, we head out into the quiet Arctic night. The Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) often begin to appear above us in the clear mountain sky, surrounded by silence and stars.

In the morning, we continue with a nature safari in the surrounding area, followed by an outdoor lunch before returning to Kiruna in the afternoon.

How to prepare:
  • Clothes adapted to the season,  gloves and a warm hat.
  • Alcoholic beverage is not included.​
  • Single room is not included, but you can order for an extra fee your own room.
  • SD memory card is not included but can be purchased from the guide.
  • Cameras only for adults.
  • Allergy - food restrictions, please let us know at booking. It is good to know that reindeer skins and dogs are common in the cars and on locations.

- Northern lights/wild animals: We do our best, but can never guarantee that we will see wild animals or the northern lights. 
- Camera equipment: You are responsible for keeping borrowed equipment safe, you will pay a repair fee for a damaged or lost camera, camera plate, headlamp, lens or lenscap.
- SD memory cards: We are not responsible for data on the SD memory cards used in our cameras.
