Into the heart of the Swedish mountains - Northern Lights Adventure

​The snowmobile takes us through the wild Arctic landscape into the highest mountain region in Sweden, the heart of Kebnekaise. We stop along the way to capture a few quick photos before arriving at the mountain station, where we spend the night

After a sauna and a three-course dinner, we prepare our cameras and head out into the surrounding mountains. The Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) begin to appear above us as silence settles over the Arctic wilderness and the star-filled sky reveals itself in its clearest form.

In the morning, we return toward Nikkaluokta for a wildlife photography drive. Along the quiet road, we may spot Arctic wildlife such as moose in their natural environment. After a final stop for photography, we continue back to Kiruna before lunch.

How to prepare:
  • Clothes adapted to the season,  gloves and a warm hat.
  • Alcoholic beverage is not included.
  • Single room is not included, but you can order for an extra fee your own room.
  • SD memory card is not included but can be purchased from the guide.
  • Cameras only for adults.
  • Allergy / food restrictions, please let us know at booking. It is good to know that reindeer skins and dogs are common in the cars and on locations.
If there is no availability, please mail us for an extra spot..
Note: 
- Weather: We suit the tour depending on weather. If it is not possible to reach Kebnekaise mountain station due to blizzards we stay in lower areas, closer to the road, in the village of Nikkaluokta.
- Northern lights/wild animals: We do our best, but can never guarantee that we will see wild animals or the northern lights. 
- Camera equipment: You are responsible for keeping borrowed equipment safe, you will pay a repair fee for a damaged or lost camera, camera plate, headlamp, lens or lenscap.
- SD memory cards: We are not responsible for data on the SD memory cards used in our cameras.
