Visit the Icehotel to see the ice artOur local guide picks you up and drives you by minibus to Jukkasjärvi. At the Icehotel you have time, on your own, to discover the famous ice art exhibition.
Your guide will also take you to the oldest part of Jukkasjärvi where you will hear more about the Kiruna area and about the Sami people. You visit the old church, also called the ”Sami church”, where the oldest parts are from 1607 and meet the reindeers at Nutti Sami siida, the Sami museum. When we are finished we go back to Kiruna. Price: Adult/youth SEK 1,690/person. Children 2-12 years SEK 1,090/child.
The price includes: Pick-up from Camp Ripan or Kiruna tourist office, guide, entrance Icehotel, entrance to the Sami museum and the reindeers, booster seats for children. Participants: Minimum 2 adults. Departures: Daily at 09.30–approx. 12.30. How to prepare: - Clothes adapted to the season, gloves and a warm hat. - Allergy, please let us know at booking. It is good to know that reindeer skins and dogs are common in the cars and on locations. |
