On tour to Abisko

From Kiruna we drive into the night by car. Our goal is to catch the northern lights, learn more about nature, local culture and visit the famous Abisko. Outside the window we see the stars, and if we are lucky, a hint of green auroras in the sky.

1,5 hours later we are there, for a three-course dinner down in the village of Abisko. We talk about nature, Sami culture, northern lights and local history.

We can never guarantee that we will see the aurora but if the weather is good after dinner, we will take a walk in the Abisko area, to experience the landscape and look for the northern lights. Our local guides are trained photo guides so if you bring your camera, we will help you to take photos. 
   
If the weather isn’t good in Abisko, we start driving back to Kiruna, and if we’re lucky the sky clears up so we can stop to see the northern lights.

  • Adult and teenager SEK 2,590/person.
  • Children 3-12 years SEK 1,590/child.

How to prepare:
  • Clothes adapted to the season,  gloves and a warm hat.
  • Beverage is not included.
  • Allergy, please let us know at booking. It is good to know that reindeer skins and dogs are common in the cars and on locations.

Note: 
​- Transfer time: One way, 1-1,5 hours, depending on road conditions. Not recommended for children under 3 years old due to the transfer time.
- Northern lights: We do our best to find clear skies, but can never guarantee that we will experience the northern lights. 
- Equipment: You are responsible for keeping borrowed equipment safe, you will pay a repair fee for a damaged or lost camera plate or headlamp.
