Experience the unique midnight light

When the night is on its way, we pick you up and drive into the forest or mountains. In the unique midnight sun, we hike to our viewpoint, while
our local guide tells us about nature, Sami culture and stories from the area.

In the magical evening light we make a fire, make tea and enjoy the fantastic scenery. We wait until midnight to get a chance to experience the midnight sun or the genuine midnight summer light in the north.

​After midnight we get back to the car and drive to Kiruna. We are back late at night.

    • Kiruna tourist office 9.15 pm -approx. 00.30 am
    • Camp Ripan 9.30.pm
How to prepare:
  • Clothes adapted to the season,  gloves and a warm hat. It is good to know that it is always colder in the night.​​
  • Allergy / food restrictions, please let us know at booking. It is good to know that reindeer skins and dogs are common in the cars and on locations.

Note: 
- Midnight sun: We have midnight sun in Kiruna from the end of May to the middle of July. We can never guarantee that you will see the midnight sun as it depends on clear weather. 
- Hiking location: You need to be able to walk 2 km to our viewpoint. If not, we will choose another location with a good midnight view.
