Nature wellness under the northern light

The northern light is a part of Sami life, the darkness and quietness around us in the evening landscape makes us feel the connection with nature and experience the colours, the taste and smell of the surroundings.

We walk out in the darkness, listening to the quietness, experience the night sky over us, sometimes with dancing northern lights, some times with dancing snow. We makes a fire and search for our inner voices, open the door to Sami myths, stories and chants and getting closer to the winter landscape.
   
After the tour you can add on 2 hour at the Arctic SPA to refresh your body and mind.

Since northern light is a nature phenomenom we never guarantee that you will see the aurora. The focus on the tour is the wellness experience in the dark.

About the tour:
  • Price: SEK 1 290 SEK/pers. Minimum age 15 years old. With Arctic SPA before the tour SEK 1 985/person* (earlier departure - SPA can be fully booked, if so we will refund your SPA booking). We also help you book two course dinner at Camp Ripan (not included). Private group SEK 5 500, maximum 4 persons. Add on extra participants on the private booking SEK 950/pers (Add on Arctic SPA SEK 695/pers).
  • The price includes: Transfer from Icehotel, Kiruna tourist office or Camp Ripan, warm covering clothes and shoes, headlamp, tea and a cake, Samiwellness guide.​ We recommend you comfortable clothes suited for the season, mittens, gloves and a good, warm hat.
  • Participants: Minimum 2 persons. 
  • Departures: 20.00–approx. 23.00 Nov 15 - March 15 . ​
  • Note: We will be walking in the forest, you need to be able to walk at a snowmobile track 300 meters. Norhtern light is a nature phenomenom and we can not guarantee you will see the northern light, focus on this tour is the wellness experience in the dark.
  • Add on: If you choose to add on Camp Ripan Arctic SPA it opens att 12.00 Time must be booked in advance. At the Arctic SPA, there is included towels, bathrobe Ripan SPA ritual Stävan with birch scrub and coffee face mask. You will get help from the SPA guide at Camp Ripan when you arrive the SPA. Note that if you choose this add on, transfer from your hotel before the SPA can be booked for an extra fee of SEK 300/person. There can be children in the SPA 12.00-16.00
