Nature's pantry and Sami dinner
Nature is filled with plants and berries to collect and eat. While we collect part of our dinner we learn more about the Sami traditions and how the plants are, and have been used, in Sami everyday life.
An afternoon with Sami traditions
In the forest there are hidden plants and berries that have been used by Sami people, for food and medicine. We walk on paths and in the forest to find what we are looking for. We are prepared to find our own food in the nature.
The guide is telling about what you can eat and not, and gives advice on how to use it. We pick plants and berries and stop to make a fire to drink coffee.
In the end we meet the chef at the restaurant. We get to present what we found in the forest. To dinner we are served a Sami inspired meal with parts of what we found.
